Sinistar kicks my ass

Post by Erik_Twice »

Any strategy tips? Ideas? I can only mine enough bombs to leave him with 2-3 parts on the first round, which doesn't sound so nice.

Should I destroy his parts while he is being built? Or should I store and kill him for real so the Warriors don't get stronger?

I've been playing this game since I was 8 and I can't remember ever winning. I usually destroy the parts before he forms, but he always appears...

I really don't blame you.

After getting the hang of the controls, which are weird because I'm using a PS2 controller to emulate the analog I can mine fast and kill the first Sinistar on one credit but I have yet to do much on the Worker's zone besides getting killed by Warriors, the AI is really smart.

A never ending battle of chipping the Demon down to size. Once in a while I manage to get him, but In the end "Run! Run!" and then its over for me. Try the 3D version on the PC. A whole new game, but has features of the arcade.

RUN COWARD!
I have never been any good at this and it really is a game were you have to find things out yourself, there is some help on the net and of course there might be youtube vids and stuff.

I hate to say it, but the only time I've ever had any success in that game is on the real cabinet which I got to play about 10 years go. No classic arcade collection cabinet, compilation, or emulator can get that fine-tuned control scheme courtesy of the 49-way joystick down right.

I used to play this in the arcade, and had the PlayStation collection. It is a rather difficult game. I can usually get to level 2, and made it to level 3 or 4 only one time.
