Ledger definitely was inspired by this guy, no doubt at all after seeing that.
What do you want out of the next Batman series?

I think I just skimmed over that. "Good", right?AppleQueso wrote:...how "could" his portrayal was?
Anyway, HL's Joker is up there with LukeSkywalker's in BTAS.

^Happens to the best of us.
The worst is sending an email without the attachment, to your boss. It's no big deal, but it makes me do the Chris Farley "Idiot! Idiot! What were you Thinking!?!".

I read this as a kid, Batman vs Vampires or something like that where Batman ended up as a vampire at the end. If they made the AbeLincoln movie, this could be made too.

Not to knock Heath Ledger's performance, because he did a great job. But this will always be the greatest onscreen Joker for me:

And even though he might not be quite as memorable as Nicholson or Ledger, Mark Hamill does a helluva job as the animated Joker and doesn't get nearly enough credit for it:

Even more of the truth. The episode where Sid the Squid "kills" Batman was his greatest Joker performance. And even though he might not be quite as memorable as Nicholson or Ledger, Mark Hamill does a helluva job as the animated Joker and doesn't get nearly enough credit for it:

Re: What do you want out of the next Batman series?
I just bought the first three episodes of Batman: TAS. Really hoping it will be as good as people say. It's been a really long time since I've actually seen it, I watched far more Beyond when I was younger and I don't really remember it all that well.
As far as Joker performances... Mark Hamill's Joker in the Arkham games has to be my favorite I've encountered thus far. In fact, his performance in them was what inspired me to pick up a few TAS videos. I believe the guy that voiced Batman and Harley Quinn also returned to do the Arkham games as well?

Older. Not wiser.
