The game looks good (from what i saw) i wonder what crawled up Bernie's ass and made him decide to shelf it. Maybe he felt they couldnt get the game running properly on the DC hardware? Its funny how some games get canceled then we get releases like insert crappy game here.

So how can we get a hold of copies of this? Are they pressing GD roms for us to buy, or can we download it and burn it ourselves to CD-Rs?

They are pressing CDRoms as GDRoms are too rare and hard to come by.

You might be able to secure the second batch from this thread here.

http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/sh ... hp?t=35956

Mind the original post though and do exactly as it asks so you make sure you get on the list.

If you don't want to buy it, I will be posting download links here when it becomes available for free for the full Dreamcast community approximately 1 month after all people that reserved the "Official" copies of the game get theirs.

There were 100 donors, but all those have been accounted fore. The second batch will only have black and white covers and disc art.

You could always print off your own color covers though.

So what happened with the original GD Rom again? There were two people offering to sell this correct?

The first GDRom only had like 3 levels, and was scratched beyond repair.

The second one is in the hands of Assembler, the guy that runs the site where they get all the unreleased games and then release them to the net for free.

Not much longer now guys, it is ALMOST here!

I will let you guys know how it is when I get my hands on it.

I just got an email from Assembler that because of my donation to the site in 2011, I'm able to get a copy of Geist Force for $25 + S/H.

I have no interest in it. Is there someone who wants it (you need to pay $25 + S/H) ? Send me a PM.

I just want the copy I'm owed for my $50. The donor list was removed a while back and now I'm told he keeps excellent records and I'm not on the list. :?

I didn't keep the paypal emails since there was a formerly public list posted.

Yep, my day's sucking atm.

You should still be able to look at your paypal transaction history and show that you sent $50 to that address though. Then they should be able to look for the one from you once you've narrowed it down to the day and a block of time.

If it goes back about a year and a half but narrowing the days will be hard. It's just weird that the public list was removed...and there's a few more people with the gripe now. His record keeping isin't very good apparently, I know mine's bad obviously.

Edit: Thank you Hobie-wan, you're my only hope now. I gave him dates, transaction numbers, business addresses & email addresses so it's up to him now :D
