Saturn modchip shuts down console [Problem]

Hi everybody.
I bought a modchip and received last week.
I have a "model 2 - 32 pin" console and I've installed modchip like the guide said but if I connect the 5V wire it "shuts down" the console.
I reviewed all steps and done everything as in guide but it fails.

I suppose the problem is with the modchip (I think it's not good) but I would like to have a second opinion.
I messaged Racketboy already but got no response this far.

I made a quick review of my console working to help finding a solution and it's avaiable HERE (pdf document).

you sure you connected it to the right pin for 5v? maybe you hit a ground or 12v by mistake. though 12v is probably unlikely cause it probably would have let the smoke out haha

Something is wired wrong or the modchip is getting pushed against the metal shielding because you're shorting 5v to ground.

Modchip was no good.
Received a new one and everything is OK now.
