That pretty much reads like the basic definition of racism.

which is not the same thing as "there should be another holocaust". Isn't it logical to hope that if 25% (or any other %) of mankind were to die, the ones who die are the ones who contribute least to the general well-being of humanity? And (depending on who die, naturally) it's a fact that if 25% of the world population died, it would help the remaining 75%. Although labor shortage might increase some prices, in return it will raise wages in impoverished areas.

The main point was a relationship past friendly or business. IE, someone one would marry.... I didn't really talk in the conversation, just kind of listened.

Killing 25% of the world's people for economic reasons actually is comparable to the Holocaust.

My essential reasoning wasn't neccesarily economic on that post. It'd help enviromentally, socially, and in many other ways.

Like I said, I don't wish death on anybody, but I can't help but see the positive points in it.

If it's racist to have a personal preference like that while it's not racist to dislike fat or short men because you find them sexually unattractive, it implies that skin color is somehow a different trait than body type, height etc (besides obeseity, these are mostly things you cant really help because you are born that way). So it's OK to say that you find tall women or short men less attractive than other men/women but it's not OK to say that you find certain skin colors/ethnicities less attractive than others? How can a person force him-/herself to get attracted to things he/she does not find attractive?
The fact that you find people of certain ethnicity less attractive than others does not mean that you discriminate against people of the said ethnicity in every day life or that you treat them as a group/single entity rather than as individuals (which is/should be the basic definition of racism)? A person can think that hispanic women look on average better than asian women, but can still be married to an asian woman. That does not make the guy racist, he just has a personal preference. He does not refuse to date a good looking asian woman just because she is asian, so the fact that the women are asian is ultimately irrelevant to him and their ethnicity alone isn't any kind of dealbreaker to him.

Even if 1/4 of the population had to die, hoping a certain group would be the ones to die based on a subjective opinion on what is most important is disturbing IMO.

I realize there could be a silver lining of sorts if a large chunk of the population died, but I don't think its something one should be particularly cheery about.

EDIT:And I do realize most of these posters were being flippant. But a few seemed
serious.

EDIT No. 2:I wasn't strictly referring to Nazis either. Killing the inferiors is a very old idea.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.
