Ninja Baseball Batman

Post by Jrecee »

This is a game I just discovered today. I played it briefly and it is awesome. This short video from the angry videogame nerd sums it up nicely:

I would love to track down one of the 43 arcade cabinets that made it to the US. If anyone has any leads let me know.

I have a JP PCB, they go for about $140, or you can get a well made boot for about $70.

You can PM that dude and he'll sell for $70 off ebay, straight paypal goods transaction.

Yeah, but not the same as the actual cabinet. Otherwise I may as well just put together a mame cab . . . Which I plan on doing since I already have a cabinet I built with nothing in it.

What's not the same as an actual cabinet...it's the same JAMMA pcb running in my cabinet?

I think he means the artwork and the awesomeness of finding it in the wild. I played through this with a friend last year and holy crap it's hilarious (emulator  )!

That's awesome that you own the PCB, MJ!

It's like having the rom of a genesis cartridge but not the cartridge shell, art, box, and manual.

No, not really.

I'll give you the art, but that's it. The "shell", minus the dedicated art is the same, as are the arcade sticks and monitor.

As for finding a dedicated, there have been numerous wtb's on KLOV and neo all with no luck. Can't find an image of a US dedicated cab, let alone an actual working cab 19 years later. AFAIK, all the pcb's have been pulled - i've seen about 5-6 US PCB's over the past 18 months, to go along with another dozen or so forum members piping in that they own a bare pcb and aren't selling, which accounts for about 30% of 'em - all loose, stands to reason, almost all or even ALL are loose at this point.

Luckily, it was much more popular in Korea and Japan, so PCB's in those regions aren't as tough to come by.
