Playstation Prototype Disc Question

Post by bryan_65 »

Dose any one know if any came on a blank sliver disc with the normal black bottom? How can I be certain it is not just a burned copy? I can't say too much about as I don't have it in my possession yet, just wanting to make sure it is real.

There are Black CDRs out there. See if it can be tested on an unmodded Playstation. A good way to confirm if a pressed disc. What is the game?

Yea that is the part that has me worried. I think most developers did actually burn them or am I wrong. It seems Sega CD I know where on CDRs, but they are easily identified by the labels. Although as seen in the Sega CD prototype picture there is a VF Remix Saturn an FFS Sega CD on blank sliver discs, so i don't really know what to think.

Edit:

The inner very small ring has R049 1708 5158 or RO49 1708 5158 printed on it.

It is kinda hard to tell if its a zero (0) or an o (O) in the R049 probably a zero but I can't be certain.
