I love the game and was surprised that I had missed it this far. I suck at it too.
We need more modern, high res 2d games like this.
I wish there was a PC version.
What bugs me about Alien Hominid is that most of my deaths aren't from bosses or the various creatures you encounter. It's those damn FBI agents. As the most common enemy type in the game they SHOULD be the easiest ones to kill. However, their completely random behavior will lead to a lot of cheap kills. You can't really properly prepare for them. They may stand there waiting for you to kill them or one might aggressively attack you without warning or you'll have one fire a shot at you then immediately jump and fire another shot to nail you as you try to jump and avoid the first shot. I hate that random AI. They bounce back and forth from stupid to smart and it's annoying. Most of the harder boss fights in the game are only hard because of their presence as well. I hate those bastards.
You'll encounter screen sized mutant freaks, huge robots and other crazy shit, but it'll always be those damn FBI agents that kill you
Still a cool game though, but those agents are so damn annoying.
I'm one achievement away from having the full 200 points. I just need to beat that bastard without continuing. I'm trying to doing it the legit(a.k.a. hard)way. I know there's a trick with two players, but I don't have another controller and that's just cheating away.
Did it, beat the bastard with no continues. This is the first Xbox Live Arcade game I have gotten 200/200 on. Of course, that's mostly due to it not having any stupid multi-player achievements. Guess, I'll spend my time with the PDA games, which is the best part of the game anyway. I can't believe there were no PDA achievements. That's lame

I have a ton of unplayed games across a variety of systems, but I'm trying to at least finish every 360 game I play, achievements included. So I can have a "complete" gamer profile. That's one of the things I love about the Xbox Live Arcade games. It doesn't take eons to complete them. So I've been downloading a lot
