I've only just recently heard about this game. It looks kind of cheesy, but I'm a sucker for a decent hack n slash or beat'em up game. I could see this game being a guilty pleasure. What are your thought?

Alex Kierkegaard tore this game a new one after it came out eighteen months ago. I can't get links to work, so I am going to poorly conceal my internet retardation and let you find it on insomnia for yourselves.
No, I don't expect it to be good, but I will buy it if the price is $40 or less. Mindless fun, like Koei games. Only with more blood and fun bags.

Hmmm, I'll keep an eye on it and see how it fares. Just a game that caught my eye. I think it's from the guys who did Earth Defense Force 2017, which I haven't played. It got fairly good reviews and looks like another mindless fun game.
Speaking of Dynasty Warriors, I'm a big fan of the series, which seems to be massively more popular in the East than it is here. I have to say though that I do consider it a guilty pleasure as the series never really evolves. I can't defend it from that criticism, though I do think the games have more depth than reviewers say. Those guys never try to acquire the different items in the game or play on higher difficulties. I HATE reviewers who say a game is too easy or simplistic, despite them never raising the difficulty or trying any optional challenges. They have no right to criticize the difficulty. That's like when idiots say an arcade game on Xbox Live is too easy because of infinite credits. Any who wants a challenge simply won't use the extra credits. Duh
Okay, rant over

It's ok, us Dynasty Warriors fans have to stick together. I always kinda enjoyed the mindless running into a horde and watching the bodies fly dynamics of Dynasty Warriors, so if the series never evolves...well, I won't be too upset, though I hear it did change a few things for the latest installment on the 360.
As for this game, I remember seeing it when the trailer first showed up. I'd forgotten about it, but I had wanted to try it then, if only for the sheer silliness of the idea and that one girl's costume. A bikini, cowboy hat, AND feather boa? Sign me up! Anyway, I'm actually kinda shocked and upset nobody here has played it. What's the import scene like on the 360?
