To Open or Not To Open
So yesterday i was walking around a meijer and eventually got to the game section. I seen a Gears Of War 3 limited edition Xbox 360 in the display case and i bought it......now i have the limited edition gears 3 game, limited edition brady games strategy guide, and the limited edition 360 ALL STILL SEALED NEW IN THE BOX........now im in a tough spot.......should i open the 360 and use it? its such an expensive thing to just not use......but i know for a fact its more valuable still in the box sealed.....the thought has crossed my mind to open this one and go back to the meijer i found it at in a couple weeks and buy the last one on the shelf........but it might not be there........decisions decisions.......what would you do?

I say open it and enjoy it. If you have enough spare money, then go and buy another one to preserve if you want, but if its a choice between owning one sealed OR an opened one, then I would open it.

Open it if you don't want to open it. Don't open it if you want to open it.

@ korn - You will never get rich on investing in games, so just open it and enjoy all the goodies. Sure the value might go down a little, but as long as you keep it together CIB pristine it is still a very collectable item, especially years later. The added benefit is the game is verified to work, ten years from now would not be the time to discover a defective disc.

The majority on Racketboy will tell you to open it and enjoy it. Games and electronics are meant to be played with.

Um, open it. As CRTGAMER has said investing in video games is a very bad idea. It's not worth it. And this is Gears of War, it's not a JRPG. That seems to be the only genre that gains in value over time.
