Don't underestimate Aquaman. The new 52 reboot has made him into a respectable character and hero... even though he has always been that in comics just not other media. The Super Friends ruined everyone's take on Aquaman.

I think DC will stay away from Batman until they know if they have successfully created a movie universe like Marvel. That way if their other movies suck they can keep their cash cow movies separate.

Hm. What would I want from the next Batman movie?

Fairly simple, I'd like to see the world's greatest detective using more wit than brawn to tackle his foes. Don't need a huge penny or a T-rex, but Batman using the batcave for something else than parking his tumbler would be great. Also wouldn't mind a little blood in the violent scenes.

But Batman is going to have to live in a world where Superman and Wonder Woman can exist, which will be tricky.

I honestly think there is a lot of money to be made with a Batgirl movie. DC needs to get on that. It's not like we've had a lot of strong female comic based movies. Something needs to fill the void and make people forget about crap like Catwoman and that Elektra movie. I even think a successful Batgirl trilogy could end with Barbara Gordon getting shot in the third movie. Then you end the film with her in a wheel chair and a Birds of Prey tease. You get the right director and I guarantee a Batgirl franchise will take off and will even bring in more women than these comic book movies usually do

A Huntress movie could do really well too if you have the commercials hype up that she is Batman's daughter. You could even use the whole Birds crew in the movie. The name Huntress actually sounds pretty marketable, not hard to sell people on that.

Batman has been handled brilliantly by Nolan, it's time to branch out. Let the Nolan movies linger in people's minds for a while, and work on building up other Bat characters. Batman and his Bat family are a franchise in itself. You don't even need to put him with Superman or the Justice League

I've been saying this for year, JGL is going to make the best non-superhero superhero since Keaton. And again, he's not just a great actor, but also a great human being. You have to root for him.

Tha could work. . . Maybe. It could bring continuity without really bringing continuity. But he'd still have to play bruce wayne. . . Which would be odd. Honestly, by being in rises he may well have guaranteed himself to NOT get the role.

I still think Adrian pasdar would make a good batman.
