I think we get it, Luke.
You think the movie is dumb and silly. Whatever, man.
What was the last movie you've seen?

No I don't, I just don't think it is as good as Marvel's The Avengers. Do I think parts of the movie are silly, yes.AppleQueso wrote:I think we get it, Luke.

Well I guess if all that talk is wrapped up, I kinda totally forgot to mention the other film I watched:
Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog
It's a musical about a mad scientist/supervillian. It's written by Joss Whedon. What else is there to say? Loved it.

I can watch Dr.Horrible (went as him for Halloween last year) any day. Still a bit jealous Nathan got to meet Felicia Day "Penny" as she seems adorable.
You're going to find yourself singing "Laundry Day" for no reason.

Hm. This could go in this thread, the comic book thread, or the wrestling thread.

Serious LOBO movie talks have been going on since 2009. Not sure if it will finally get off the ground or not. I vote no LOBO. No Lobo no.

Lobo is fun, but... nah. I can't see it working out so well. It'd take a really good director with the right sense of style to make it work, and I don't really trust WB to handle things right.
Plus, the idea of us getting a Lobo movie before we ever see the Flash or Wonder Woman on the big screen seems wrong to me.

Nor can I think of any time when JdL has ever showed his tits in a movie right before giving head to his character's boyfriend.sabrage wrote:Can't say Anne Hathaway has ever made me think of John de Lancie... but then, I've never seen John without a shirt on.
Sorry, I just had to make a Havoc reference.

I personally would LOVE to see a Lobo movie. But realistically, I don't see it happening. It would have had to have been made in the 80s or 90s for the mainstream audience to catch on. I just don't see the modern mainstream audience going for Lobo.AppleQueso wrote:Lobo is fun, but... nah. I can't see it working out so well. When Danny Trejo was in talks to be Lobo years ago I was psyched. I think he could have been perfect for the role, even with a less than stellar script.BurningDoom wrote:

But now I think the bus has left the station. The Rock is great, but he's very "fake intimidating" (not saying he couldn't kick some ass). I really think he's better suited for comedy, but not TOOTH FAIRY comedy. Maybe ICE CUBE comedy. Just saying he fills seats.
Marvel sure as hell couldn't pull off a good movie about a guy who rides an enhanced motorcycle, maybe DC can.
