If you wanna know more about my pc, pm me.
If I remember correctly, you're wasting like 2GB of memory by using a 32 bit OS, and more by using Vista which is a resource hog. If it does what you need it to then power to you, but I personally wouldn't see the point in 2GB+ of wasted ram.

...And? A basic flaw of all 32bit OSs is they can't use more than about 4GB or so of RAM, same goes for Vista.

Ok, so if the plan is to play Sven Co-op, what maps are we going to be trying? There are a lot of map packs out for the game on the Sven website, would we want to go for them, or just stick to the original game?

Maybe original game, then the packs. I haven't played through all of HL1, and haven't touched the packs much.

I just downloaded the Sven coop mod and I have struck a problem. If you have downloaded the orignal HL1 from Steam, you cannot use the original maps in Sven. Any one know a way round this?

Yeah, you have to download the HLSP Support Update. It's on the Sven Co-op Files Section on their main website. Here's a link:

http://www.svencoop.com/files.php

And here's the actual download page they've got it on:

http://www.svencoopcentral.com/download.php?view.213

It's a little buggy, and there are some dialog sections and fluff material that gets cut, but it's not really important. Mostly it's just a few extra minutes of pointless dialog, and the opening credits. I don't remember how it handles weapons for multiple people, either. I think only one person is allowed to pick them up, but I may be wrong.

Hey, this weekend only (August 8-11), the complete Counter-Strike Collection (CS, CS:S, CS:CZ) is only $15 from its usual price of $30. This deal is good to get into some Steam gaming.

Yep, I grabbed CS for $5. So now I'm four games short of having every single Valve game, just got Ricochet, that Deathmatch Classic game, and the Day of Defeat games left to buy.

I've got enough money, so I'll pick up the whole pack. Just too good to pass up IMO.

EDIT: So I got the Package and it is worth every penny. You Get:

Counter-Strike
Counter-Strike:Source
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero
Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes
Day of Defeat
Deathmatch Classic
Ricochet

I did not expect the last three games. But it came out to be $16 something with tax. Defiantly pick it up.
