Right, so would you consider a communist wrong for making a movie about how great his country and the idealism of communism is right? I don't see the problem here. Its being proud of where you live or the style of life you live. I'm not seeing that as propaganda. If I understand you correctly, waking up and saying "I love my country" is spreading propaganda?

Alright, I see what your saying. My question then... how is the Alamo propaganda? Wanting freedom for your group of people from another, and dying trying to get, creates a propaganda film? The other two you mentioned I understand.

Well, a lot of the mythos surrounding The Alamo stems from the romanticized image created by that very movie. Don't forget that the Texians were inhabiting historically Mexican land and a large part of the conflict stemmed from the inability to keep slaves under the Mexican constitution. Interpretations of the moral justifications for the war are obviously going to differ depending on your view of American imperialism.
