Who else picked this up. It is very Diablo meets Torchlight in your pocket with four character classes and online play with voice chat. And ofcourse, randomly generated dungeons. Not as random as Diablos, but the main components are all jumbled together.
I played it while walking on a track near work last night. Two hours of walking, three levels, two main quests, four miles.

Played it at the show, good game. It reminded me a little of the Gauntlet Legends, the explore and sword slash enemies overhead aspect. One thing I hated was the connect time for multiplayer between 3DSs, took forever for local "Lan" wireless connections.

I picked it up. Played for about an hour. I really enjoyed. Haven't played online at all yet.

It is very Gauntlet Legends meets Torchlight. The random dungeons are just map sections that have been shuffled around - which is awesome. My Gunslinger is level 10 and my Vindicator is level 8 and I am still in the first dungeon set. Actually I want to change my statement, this is Final Fantasy Echoes of Time meets Torchlight. It has some issues that are because it is a handheld game - like load times, but it is a fantastic time waster to play while waiting for TL2.

Has anyone else gotfen really bored with this game yet? The holding down b to break a block is annoying. There is way to much stuff slowing the action in this game.

Re: Heroes of Ruin 3ds
Ive started to feel the same way. Its a slower game than initially thought, with some horrid bugs with online. I still enjoy it, and well beat the game with each character, but Ive stopped recommending it to people.
Typically I dont hold down B to break blocks, I just wait until they drop their guard. Or I use the Gunslingers bomb attack. When you are level 20 and have put everything into Might and that attack is level 2, it does alot of damage.

I played the demo a few times (what's with the demo limit?) and wasn't impressed at all. Maybe that's just me, I dunno. I couldn't put my finger on what I didn't enjoy about it. I love Torchlight, Diablo, etc. Thankfully the demo saved me from a bad purchase, but it's too bad, because that style of game would be nice to have on a handheld..sbk wrote:Has anyone else gotfen really bored with this game yet?
