Holy crap, Code of Princess!

There's a sweet ass game coming out soon called "Code of Princess". It's developed by the Guardian Heroes team and has a similar Beat em Up RPG feel. It looks fantastic and I'm so happy that Atlus has the balls to release it outside of Japan. Go 3DS!

I never played Guardian Heroes but I have always heard good things. This looks pretty good too. I'll have to keep an eye the reviews when it is released. The 3DS lineup is really beginning to flesh out with games that aren't just ports of older titles. Makes me glad I have a 3DS XL on preorder.

preordered it like a week ago, finally a good original game for the 3ds. super mario 3d world was alright but seemed way too easy. hopefully this game makes me not regret buying a 3ds.

I'm not really impressed; especially since the video almost exclusively showcases the multi-player aspects of the game.

That doesn't get me excited for a new RPG.

Of course, the game could have a full-fledged single player storyline for all I know. I'll await more details before I put in a pre-order.

If Code of Princess is anything like Guardian Heroes, the RPG elements are the last reason you would want to play it. The game is a beat em' up with a fighting game engine.

It's not an RPG, it's a Beat em Up with some RPG elements. It's like Streets of Rage with experience points and magic. It's spiritual predecessor Guardian Heroes is a bit of a cult classic and was a ton of fun, so this is exciting for fans of that game and beat em ups in general.

Whilst I'm glad to see this getting a western released, I'm a bit concerned it's Atlus that are doing so. Atlus have a pretty bad track record when it comes to Europe, and I'd really likie to play this.
