I'd probably nab the most expensive/rare ones and get them out of the way.

...so start saving up for Popful Mail.

Just for Sega CD and Saturn? I think a good pick up would be Sega Ages and Iron Storm for the Saturn. Both relatively cheap buys and good games (or set of games as the case may be.) If you're looking across the board, I might choose differently.

I've got an extra copy if you're interested. I had planned to collect each unique disc color, but I really don't see the point now.

Popful Mail
Lunar: The Silver Star (or Silver Star Story Complete - the remake is a lot better)
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue (or Eternal Blue Complete... just get it for the same platform as the first game)
Magic Knight Rayearth

IMO those are the essentials. You also might want to get the limited edition Growlanser Generations or Arc the Lad - they have really fancy-pants releases.
After those, just get what you feel like getting!

I don't see how Rayearth is essential. Albert Odyssey is better! Dragon Force is even better!!!

But yeah, you need the two Lunars. I'm not sure why Nemo is suggesting the Saturn Lunars unless you know Japanese. They don't have "Complete" in their titles, either. Those are the titles of the PS1 remakes.

IMO Rayearth is a great game; I guess it depends on how much you like action-RPGs and the other MKR-things. I think it's way better than Albert Odyssey.

(I wasn't intentionally suggesting the Saturn Lunars; my brain turned off and assumed lost_within had something that could play PS1 games.)
