I noticed when an OP gets renamed, the older original title appears on consecutive pages. Can this be fixed where any consecutive pages reflect the current renamed OP Title?

OP Page 1 : http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 45&t=38873

Page 2 : http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 3&start=10

Note the second page different Replies, the title switches back and forth of the original and renamed title. I manually put in the new name from the OP on the fifth page in my reply. It looks like it might stick when I tested a following reply, but maybe further down it might jump back to the old name again. I noticed this in a couple of other Threads, a weird bug in the Forum?

I actually like that the old thread titles stick around in posts. It helps you see when something is merged, track the evolution of content for a trade thread, etc. Not a fan of changing the way this works...

Subject titles are not broken

It isn't a bug, when you reply to a post it defaults to taking the subject of the post that you replied to. So if the first post is renamed, but someone replies to the last post, they'll have the subject title of that post without the renamed title. You're also free to rename the subject when creating your post, as I have done. What Dave said also applies, it can help you tell if something of yours got merged into another thread.

It is strange the way it jumped back and forth on the second page of the thread I linked. Looking back the following replies are reverting back to the new name without quoting anyone. Not sure if it was my rename at the top of page five or picked up from the OP. A following page will confirm what is going on.

You are right, when I quoted your Reply, the title changed in my Reply! If I would have posted without a Quote then the OP title appears.
