What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'm sure it does. Last time I watched it was last year though, I'm planning to rewatch it and its sequel again really soon myself. Hoping to watch both this week before catching Rises early in the day on Friday.

I never checked my watch, but there were some "I get it, let's get things going" moments.

But that's all pacing. *action* character development *action*. BEGINS is either an edge of the seat movie or lounge on the seat movie, but that sits well with me. Not every comic book movie has to be nonstop action.

Hm. Maybe I should go suggest Batman as my favorite ninja in the ninja thread.

I watched "Project X" last night.

My gf's reaction was, "I want to go to a college party so bad now!"

Mine was more like, "Was this entire movie really about getting kids at your school to think you are cool? And how many underage A cups did I just see?"

No lie, the big thing nowadays for a lot of girls around 17 or so (about the age of the movie) is to try and look like their 14 or so. Its very weird, and that much weirder at places that use uniforms. Its like watching a harem anime, but with less cleavage and more panties.

I'm sorry.

That "movie" is vomit. Whoever produced a movie where the best joke is a midget hiding in an oven deserves to be shot. To death. However many times it takes.

It is Not Another Teen Movie movie bad.

Are my friends and I the only people who liked Project X? (Current one, not the one with the monkey.) Its not a great movie by any means, but I found many parts legitimately funny. It might just be because we're in the demographic that they shot for, but I thought it was pretty damn good.

Anyways, I payed $5.50 to get in, its not like I broke the bank.

Every time I watch The Dark Knight I like it a little less. It feels overlong and over stuffed. Every conversation seems more about making a symbolic point than natural conversation. The finale with the swat team is so chaotic it's hard to tell what's going on. The scenes on the ferry drag. I still haven't figured out if the joker is an expert planner or makes shit up as he goes along and gets VERY lucky.

The first half is cool as hell. The batman copycats, the parking garage drug deal. The kidnapping of lau. And batman vs joker in the interrogation room is great of course.

Batman Begins just never gets old for me.

To quote the Joker:
