yeah, its off to a good start. you have lots of open space to get more cabinets and games to go with them.

Is this your home or are you a renter?

You could put up some nice artwork but if the place really isnt yours. The landlord may get mad for making holes in the walls.

You could find some basic posters too.

You could get another TV to game some more.

lots of potential here!

Loads of potential here. I see plenty of shelves chock full of games in your future. :) I have sort of a Sega wall, Nintendo wall, and so on. Just be sure to keep things tidy and organized as your collection flourishes.

Yes it does belong to me. This room is part of my basement and we had it renovated back in 2004. My parents put my bedroom down there as well and they have pretty much let me maintain the entire flat myself. I have a bathroom as well as two other rooms. Ive wanted to set up a couple slot machines and MAME cabinets in one of them in the near future, but my funds aren't all too great. As far as the bar counter, I really feel disappointed that I haven't put much work into it as far as fulfilling its purpose. I'd like to put in a minifridge and microwave and set a nice little Vectrex system and it will be perfect!

Wow! That's a lotta space. If I was single, I'd have no motivation to move out. Nice space and a good start. Time for some stereo speakers. :D
Oh and, nice cherry (?) iMac. ;)

I went shopping for a bunch of stuff for my game room and I think ive done pretty good so far!

New additions:

8 Atari XE/ST/800 games bought for a total of 2 DOLLARS at goodwill.
9 Atari 2600/7800 games from a resale store and sadly I kinda got suckered into the deal and lost a bit of cash.
Sonic the Hedgehog early era wall-art-10 dollars
Black and Decker mini fridge. ONLY PAID 60 DOLLARS!
Hamilton Beach microwave. 40 dollars!
Labatt Blue sign: 10 dollars

Cool gameroom, Ark.
It's tough to avoid the "man cave" look in a basement. So far, your place looks homey, and full of light. Invest in shelves now, before you start drowning in games. Trust me, it can happen faster than you'd expect.
