Clock tower help please!

Post by dreamcast4ever83 »

Im a huge clock tower fan! I have both clock tower and clock tower 2 ghost head, Anyways I know there is a clock tower game called first fear on the snes which i here was not ported here. I also heard there was a port to playstation but only japan so my question is how the hell do i get this to play.

I dont have a modded ps1. I do own both a ps1 and ps3 but I Think there both region locked. Is there another way? I do have a dreamcast is there a collection homebrew for snes that has this that works well?

Help?

Im no expert but you could probably make your own DC game with snes roms in it.

you could download it and play it emulated on your PC.

I dont think the JP ps1 clock tower game has been fan translated.

If you look online you can find just the patch or get it already patched with the SNES game.

Once you do have it, Use the DC snes program, (probably on dcisozone) and make your own customized disc with the games you want.

I've never done this either, so It may take some practice.

but from what I've read and heard, some snes games are kinda slowish on the Dreamcast.

it has not. The SNES one was though. I have the JPN PS1 game myself.

@OP, if you're a big fan of the series then you should also get Haunting Ground on PS2. It was basically meant to be the new Clock Tower, but then the project got changed.

So:

Clock Tower (First Fear) - SNES/PS1
Clock Tower - PS1
Clock Tower 2 (Ghost Head) - PS1
Clock Tower 3 - PS2
Haunting Ground - PS2

Am I the only person who thought this was a thread about a certain level in Castlevania games?

I played Clock tower 1 every ending....Clock tower 2 and Clock tower 3 which I enjoyed although not as much as the classic's I prefer the point and click but as for Haunting ground I just found out about that recently and now really would like to play it.

I hope it's great and has a strong clock tower feel.

yeah I agree that the point and click style served the games better as well.
