As much as he's obviously depressed already, that's a bad idea. Plus you know, he's still in high school.
Bad idea jeans indeed.

Get some EXERCISE Forlorn. It's a very simple way to clear your mind, take care of your body, and eat up some time. But give yourself something to work toward to; you need a goal. It can be running a mile without taking a break, 100 consecutive push-ups, or benching a certain weight. Trust me, exercise will get you out of a funk in a hurry, plus it gives you a feeling of being happy with yourself.

If you can't be happy alone, you'll never truly be happy.

Facebook = anti-social

Go say hello to a real-life friend. Maybe do something together. Watch a movie, play a game, go to the movies, go eat something...

And if you don't have one, consider buying a pet. Take good care of it and it will love you forever. Especially a dog. Cats, depends on the cat. Some are very asocial, others won't leave you alone... lol

If you have no purpose, sit down for a sec and think what you want to do with your life. Give your life direction...

I know how you feel. But whining about it won't help...

Oh yes, one more thing. A good sleeping pattern and good food will help make you feel better too...

Jesus Christ US Media, Sarah Silverman, George Carlin, Patrice O'Neal, Dice Clay, Sam Kinison, and a SHIT TON of comics have made rape jokes. Why gang up on Daniel Tosh?

Oh I know why, comedians hate to see other comedians have a successful career and they all have to chime in so they can be on tv for once.

You can make 9/11 jokes, AIDS jokes, Murder jokes, but a quick rape joke at a Tosh show to a heckler is getting this much attention? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

Because in comedy you want to make the joke, not be the joke.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Tosh is a male Sarah Silverman. Puppy dog attractiveness with a vulgar and shocking set. You can't judge the guy by his Comedy Central show, you need to see him live (or I guess on youtube).

This isn't Dane Cook backlash (who coincidentally performed at the same show), but it's so blown out of proportion that it's dumb. A heckler got heckled and couldn't take being on the other side of the mic. The twat should be banned from all comedy from here on out.

Well, she can keep watching rom-coms, but if you are at a stand up club and heckle off all people Daniel Tosh (who I don't really find funny, but find him of great intellect) don't expect a "please quiet down". And what Tosh did was nothing near what most B-list comedians like Joe Rogan do to hecklers.

Yeah I dig Tosh for the most part. Seeing his real standups are pretty crazy in comparison to his TV safe stuff. I think I like him a lot though because he looks and his mannerisms are just like a good friend of mine, who's a really kind and polite dude, so just having that comparison in my head is pretty hilarious.

This fact is so often overlooked by whiny depressed people. It's so fucking true, if you take care of your body and mind then obviously you will have a better emotional/mental well-being. Your brain doesn't function very well on soda and chips or only eating once a day. Eat some real food.

Also, try to stay positive. If you wake up in the morning thinking "today is going to suck" then guess what, you've just guaranteed yourself a shitty day. We often get what we expect. I don't know if that's just so simple that people don't want to believe/try it, but it really helps to think positive. That does not mean everything will go your way but it'll help you deal with the shitty stuff and start your day off better.

Tosh is alright, but I always preferred his contemporary/possible rival, Demetri Martin.

In fairness, people often have actual problems with serotonin production and simply "cheering up" and/or trying to have a brighter outlook are really not viable options - sometimes medication is a valid and necessary option.

That said, Forlorn Drifter pretty much sounds like almost everyone else when they are a teenager, and between his screen name and his posts on a wide variety of subjects I get the sense that he is sort of wallowing in his sadness a bit, which is a perfectly normal and usually safe method of addressing teen angst. Go rage/despair to some music for a bit and then go for a walk or something.
