well, i've got an snes game that works, but there's a quirk, the floors won't load, or rather, they cut out after the stage starts.
if it was a whatever game i'd just buy a new one, but it's my copy of captain commando, a pretty good and decently pricey game.
i've already rubbed down the contacts with an eraser, and i tried reflowing all of the contacts on the game board, does anyone else have an idea as to what i can do?

Do your other games work? It might be your SNES if they don't work as well the case. Clean it out and check it's contacts.

yup, 90+% of the time games load on the first try with no issues, just this one gives me trouble.
i think i'm going to replace the cap and resistor on the board, but beyond that i'm out of ideas short of transplanting the rom chip.
