Homosexuality

For whatever reason, there are still a considerable some who think if you find something to be wrong, you must hate the whole of that person, or that community. The irony is that, that line of reasoning is so wholly more intolerant than the "offensive" view. That, ultimately, is why I left the debate, among other reasons. That is why MANY racket members, in good standing on this site, and well-liked on this site...have stayed out of the debate. Not that they don't have a same/similar understanding as I, but that perhaps there understanding is greater than mine, and ultimately the intolerant and hurtful comments on the other side of this debate, do nothing but cause ill will and misunderstanding of His purpose.

You'll notice that only one homosexual member has spoken up as well, and it wasn't to thank you for your concern.

I think the above isn't fair to Mike. This discussion in this particular thread was started by Dave asking clarification questions about people's views on Homosexuality and what their basis for that was. You may not agree with his responses, but as he said a good number of people have similar feelings as him, in the US, let alone on this site and I think he has done an admirable job of expressing those views without being combative.

My mistake. Only one that I was aware of.

You may not agree with his responses, but as he said a good number of people have similar feelings as him, in the US, let alone on this site and I think he has done an admirable job of expressing those views without being combative.

Oh, come on, only Optimus was really doing any actual religion-bashing here. To be honest, the rest of it was just you guys going on the defensive. This is an issue of human rights. You cannot deny equal rights to a section of the population for any reason. This is simple logic.

...who? I've been gone for a week. The fact that we have loss a member because of the poor comment I made makes me sick to my stomach.
