exactly.

But Hobie's right, the thing I posted is huge. Sadly, I can't find something similar that's smaller. I like the idea of something that automatically shows what games I've been playing on PSN & XBLA is all. But whatever. Not worth arguing over. Was just a ... suggestion and the majority has spoken so it's cool.

Hopefully a smaller one can be found that's more reasonable so people that want to share that can. I forget the one that a lot of people were using before it shut down last year. I think it was only slightly larger than the RFGen Backloggery one, so it was all right IMHO.

I was on your side, but that must be because maybe google resizes the image automatically or something? Hobie said it's huge and you agree. On my computer it seems relatively small, but must not be, eh?

I think sigs are a really important part of "who we are", if you will. As much as i'd like you to be able to use that, if we then have members blocking sigs, that would be an unintended casualty.

The sigs on neo are...ridiculous.

I wonder if middle ground could be: It must be gaming related, meaning no pictures of homer simpson or the Chicago Bears logo. It must be a backloggery, or PSN sig link, etc?

Just a thought...

yeah it's not huge on MY computer. But in Hobie's pics it obviously was weirdly formatted. I don't know.

My browser is set to normal 100% size for the view. No zooming or shrinking. My Windows desktop settings are also set to 100% normal 96 DPI. So I'm displaying everything in the exact pixel size it is. No stretching or anything.

Maybe some of you screwheads have your browser changing the size of things or your OS desktop settings are on 125% - 120 DPI or 150% - 144 DPI? :P

Hey, my Avatar is my Car motor! I know, this is dealing with the signatures. I think each member should have the freedom to post anything in his or her own Signature and Avatar even if not gaming related. As long as it is in good taste and kept small so the focus will be the Reply itself.

A shame that backloggery could not be made smaller somehow, the other issue is that its more then a pic file. If it auto updates does this mean a slight delay of a page load, multiplied by ten Replies per page? This could be an issue for a mobile phone or slow server user.

Racketboy has the best and FASTEST loading Forum pages because of all the extra fluff locked out.

woah CRTGAMER!

now its time for my own exploding head guy.

I didnt realize your pic was a car's engine. Now I can see it.

I always thought that it was an alien of some sort!

some diorama with a tentacled alien on some kind of life support!

a yellow head with tentacles (cables) comming out of it and some sort of machine to the right of it

very sci fi

the mobile version of the forum does not display avatars or signatures.

EDIT:

Anyway, what about this?

Image

Does that look too big for a signature? Because it's still too big for our 70 pixel restriction.

I was thinking the mobile phone users that want to see the full Racketboy Forum.

In the stats tag now its hard to see the scores. The pictures in the tag represent something, few will know what they mean. Why can't there be just text showing the important stuff with a splash background of sorts?

I didn't design it CRT. But it doesn't really matter why. If I want to use that as my sig, I should be able to. Those that recognize which games are pictured will appreciate them.

Also -- YOUR big block of text signature is way bigger than the Gamercard I just posted. So I don't see why it should be a problem for anyone.
