Anyone know anything about acid reflux? I woke up with my chest and throat in a lot of pain this morning, to the point where it really hurts to swallow or move my neck around. I went to the walk-in and the doc said it's probably acid reflux and gave me some medication that's supposed to neutralize the acid or whatever. He didn't run any tests or anything and just said that's what it was right away.

It's getting worse and worse though and I'm starting to get paranoid that he misdiagnosed me or something. Just swallowing some water is like eating nails, it really sucks and I'm not one to complain about pain. I googled around a bit and most sites I found seem to say difficulty with swallowing is pretty rare with acid reflux and only shows up in severe cases.

Maybe I have a severe case but what strikes me odd about the whole thing is that before this morning this pain wasn't there at all, and I never have heartburn or anything. I can't take the medication until the morning so I guess I'll just see how it goes.

Playing Super Street Fighter IV and I just finished all of Vega's trials which is the only person I've completed all the trials for. for all the gamers who play this, trials 18 and 23 were evil! >.<; I'm just doing all the trials for all the characters now and I'm starting off with Ryu.

Compared to Vega, Ryu is a walk in the park as I'm already on Trial 19 and I've never used Ryu before in this game. It feels so weird because Ryu feels so slow and so my timing is really off when I'm jumping in lol

Never heard of acid reflux like that but I'm no doctor. I hope it gets much better and the medicine helps. Doesn't sound like fun at all.

Does your brestbone hurt?

Do you have a sour taste in your mouth?

Do you have water in your mouth?

Does your back hurt near your diaphragm?

Those are all signs of acid reflux...

Yes to these two but not the others. My breastbone and throat feel sore and swollen, and I seem to be producing a lot of saliva, which sucks because having to swallow it is uncomfortable.

How is Netflix's interface still so terrible? How?

On a related note, according to InstantWatcher, Battle Royale is #3, which is awesome. #26 is Gay Sex in the '70s, and somehow a PBS documentary cracked the top 50, so I'm not sure what that reflects about the people who use Netflix, exactly.
