That's awesome! I never would have thought that a comic that's so cosmic and frankly not for a casual audience would get green-lit.Luke wrote:GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY got the green light. So fucking stoked.
What was the last movie you've seen?

I

I love Jim Jarmusch. I love his characters, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, the overlong takes, the awkward dialogue, and I love Esther Balint... But I'd have a hard time convincing anyone else to love it. If you're not familiar with Jarmusch's body of work, I suggest you start elsewhere.

Dark Knight Rises, with Robin
Would have put this in the video thread, but would hate to derail all the unfunny.

Saw LIMITLESS the other night. Robert DeNiro (Bobby D to his buddies) and dude from Alias, Bradley Cooper star in a pretty interesting thriller. Basic concept is protaganist gets hooked on a new drug that lets you use more of your brain and the fallout that comes from trying to be smart and make money off of being smart. There's not a lot of meat here, but the premise is interesting and Cooper does a good job of acting different then the roles I usually see him in (ie: annoying douchebag).
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Not a comedy. But a good movie.

That's really the one part that's gonna be a tough pill to swallow for me. I'm hoping he's not part of the team, as there's been more than one Guardians of the Galaxy team, one he's a member of was just the most recent incarnation.AppleQueso wrote:All I need is Rocket Racoon
I mean really? A walking, talking space raccoon in a live-action movie that's not a spoof or kids movie?
