switchless mod question

Hey all, quick question i have a switchless mod on my snes. I also use a super everdrive, Now the question i have is when its in the orange setting or auto setting the pal roms i have say this cart cannot be used in this super famicom or snes console. If its in auto mode why dose it do that? Is it because its a rom or is the mod wrong.

Some pal games block 60hz. If a mod or flash cart only bypasses the console's lockout, affected titles still won't play. Maybe there's cheat codes or rom patches to remove that second check?

Does the system you have switch between NTSC/PAL as well as 50/60Mhz too, or just NTSC/PAL mode? If it doesn't switch 50/60Mhz then that might be the issue, either that or the Everdrive is PAL and although your ROM is NTSC it might still auto-select PAL format so not run the ROM.

I dont know if it switches between pal and ntsc but it dose switch between 50/60 hz cuz my tv rolls in 50 hz. All i have is the flash cart so i cant really teast other games. And its not pal. I just figure the rom should be the same as the real game so there is no reason why it shouldnt play in the auto mode. Unless it dose have something to do with the flash cart.

That error message in affected pal games means you only broke half their security.

Region code is bypassed (region failure usually leads to black screen, not a warning).
But such games halt when they detect a 60hz console.

You'll have to find cheats or patches to tell the roms they're OK to run at 60hz mode.
