Do you get any sound or anything at all when you turn it on? Dose the monitor try to come on?

Did you have the back door off when you powered it on? Some cabs have a safety switch to prevent bad things from happening. The ones I have messed with are white plunger type, but you can pull out the plunger to a lock position to override the safety. I remove them on my cabs.

You got the CP off with out having the coin door open? Did you reach inside from the back to release the two panel latches?

No sound, the monitor didn't even come on.

Would transporting the cab laying down on it's back have anything to do with it?

The back is locked still. I just ordered a lock pick set so I can have a look inside.

I released the two panel latches underneith by going through the coin slot.

The common lock pick set to open padlocks, cabinet and door locks is for FLAT Keys. The bent tool holds the spindle twisted to one side while the rake is used to push in against the spring loaded pins. The spindle has to be held over to keep the pins in check as they pop in. This works in a flat key spindle, unsure how the round locks are done, but certainly not the same tool set.

If no luck on picking the lock, you could try the Cobalt Drill Bit I mentioned earlier, it would be cheaper. Even a sharpened slotted screwdriver whacked in the center and a pair of vicegrips might bust the lock or twist the whole lock and back nut assembly.

I had a look again, it turns out to be a flat key, not a tubular lock. If I were impatient, then I'd resort to breaking/drilling the lock. Plus the pick set will come in handy eventually so it could be worth the money if I can master using them *thinks of sword master in The Legend of Zelda/hums overworld theme*

I tried plugging it in again, but no picture or sound. I just took the CP off to have a better look at the inside. It doesn't seem like much. The PCB was bolted to the left side of the cabs interior wall. It looks as though there is a stepdown transformer bolted to the floor (I'm hoping that's just blown). If not I'll have to check voltage in certain areas (that I wouldn't even know about). OR buy a diagnostics manual somewhere.

The glass is half full, at least I got it in the house now. :|

Have you made any progress with the machine?

I'm assuming you've already tried this by now, but just in case:

If it was working fine before transportation, and isn't working upon delivery, the first thing you should do is go through all the connections in the cabinet and make sure nothing was unseated due to being jostled, etc. This can happen to chips, plugs, and so on.

And obviously, make sure the cabinet is unplugged while you're feeling around everywhere, and keep your hands away from the upper rear area of the monitor, you could receive a hell of a shock even if everything is unplugged (more on discharging monitors).
