What to buy for the wii?

Post by RCBH928 »

Hello

I got a wii after soo much wanting one, and it was very difficult to get your hands on one.
If you don't own it or play it at a friend's, it can get really itchy to want to try this motion control stuff.

Any how, in a way I kind of regret it. There is hardly any games worth to play.
I got super smash and am over with it.

Galaxy, zelda, metroid , NMH, are probably the only games worth getting(to play alone)
yet these games are almost still at full price(other than NMH).

Why I don't want to pay full price? because I didn't catch up with last generation, and even older games. So I think its much more worth it to pay $60 for , ocarina of time, gta san andreas, and Ninja Gaiden, over Just zelda wii, or galaxy.

The only game I see worth buying now is resident evil 4 which I will. It breaks my hart to see the wii on the side non-played. i didn't even turn it on in like 3 weeks...Since I bought it I am guessing i better use it....any advice?

1 thing I can think of is buying GC games. But what about next gen-wii controls?!

What kind of games do you like? There are plenty of good titles, but lots of bad ones too. For all-around suggestions I would say: Mario Kart Wii, Bully (if you haven't played the PS2 version), Ghost Squad, House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return, and NiGHTS is pretty fun at only $20. All of those games save MK Wii are $30 or less.

You can get Galaxy, Metroid, NMH, etc. for around $25-35 on eBay right now if you don't mind used. If you picked up Galaxy and NMH for $50 or so, that would be a good way to get started with Wii gaming.

I would suggest Galaxy, NMH, Mario Kart, RE 4, and Super Paper Mario. RE 4 and Super Paper Mario are my two favs for the Wii, but I feel you on not using the Wii much. I got mine last year and after Smash I haven't payed the Wii all that much. If online matches on Smash weren't so dang laggy I would play it all the time.

Zak and Wiki is a great game and only $20.00 new. It makes great use of the wiimote and the challege level is high. I highly recommend playing it once.
