Have any of you played the PS Mini Velocity? It came out in May and is an addictive and extremely fun puzzle/shmup hybrid with an 8/16-bit style that I think a lot of folks on here would really, really like. I am about 1/3 of the way through so far, and have been thoroughly impressed by the production values/control/etc. It was a freebie for PSN+ for a while (it may still be?) but it is usually only $5 anyway. This is one of the better "mini" games (it has 50 levels and lots of replayability) I have played on the PSN, and I'd be curious to know what y'all think...

Is it playable on the Vita? I haven't touch my PSP for quite some time, man, the screen on the Vita is much better than the -3000 model.

The game wasn't under the PS Store mini's for Vita, did you DL it on PS3 and transfer it to Vita?

I played a handful of levels last night (and then replayed them trying to get Gold - so it had that hook into me already). Pretty neat little game for $5.
