Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle
Still haven't read the newer JoJos. I just downloaded the entire manga run to read on Kindle.

Indeed, check out the Jojo Capcom games on dc, ps1 or mame.
They´re pretty great games that get very little attention.

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle
I'm just excited we're getting a new JoJo game that looks pretty awesome. I just wish it didn't have that MvC3, SF4 type of look to it, but I'm very impressed by how accurate the characters look, and the way they move. If this comes to US shores, it's getting my money.

Well, the fear is that it'll be like the Naruto/DBZ fighters. I don't mind the fact that it's 3D. I prefer sprites, but that's not a deal breaker. If it played more like DoA, Soul Calibur, Tekken, etc. I wouldn't mind. If it plays like Naruto then I'll hate it, haha.

I'll admit though that I actually liked Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm and Dragonball Z: Raging Blast. While simplistic in nature, they are very fun games to just play around with. But I understand where you're coming from.

Anyone been following this? It's actually starting to look really good, way better than what I was expecting earlier in the thread.

I'm pretty sure it's getting a physical release in Japan.

This game comes out tomorrow. Who's in? I'll be buying it on PSN as soon as the store updates, and I have a few friends that have the game pre-ordered. Should be fun! Hopefully CC2 proves that they can make real fighters. Gameplay footage looks pretty good.

All-Stars is a 3D fighter apparently? Losing interest.
TBH I'm not even that big a fan of the original 2D game(s). Never could really grasp the whole weird persona system successfully.

It's like P4A in a sense.
And yea, it's 3D. I don't think it's as 3D as Tekken or Soulcalibur, but we'll see. Definitely has sidestepping but otherwise the inputs are more typical semi-circles like you'd see in SF and other 2D fighters. As far as I know, there is a dedicated sidestep/roll button. Just pressing up or down doesn't cause you to sidestep.
It'll be interesting to see whether CC2 can make a good real fighter since we usually just see the mainly-mash-one-button Naruto fighters from them.
