Those are soundtracks I go back to time and time again. Classics.

Yeah, call me a big fan, because Jet Set is a blast. I had some frustrating moments throughout the game, but the problem always resolved itself when I realized I was doing it wrong.

Great stuff, and I'm definitely gonna spend more time with it and unlock the secret characters and such.

I'mma go buy the soundtracks now...

oh shit, I didn't even start yet.

Sorry dude, I certainly didn't pace myself very well on this one. It really sucked me in.

Like I said though, I'll still be playing it because I want to work on the extra challenges, so don't think I've shelved the game or anything.

I didn't either...
I'ma finish Conan this weekend and then start that one and Ninja Gaiden Black. Conan and NGB are not on my list, but I think I will replace Shadow of the Ninja with NGB.

Just finished Panzer Dragoon Saga with all the side-quests! Man, what an unbelievable game; save for the draw distance and slowdown, the graphics outclass almost anything on the PS1 or N64, every single line of dialogue is voiced, the combat is fun and inventive, and the whole thing is just polished to a mirror shine. I love this game. It is definitely one of the greatest games I have ever played.

Now onto Majora's Mask!

Classics
1. Shatterhand (NES)
2. Sonic CD (PS3) I started but stopped on the electricity level
3. Final Fight (PS3 or Mame) COMPLETE 6/24
4. Cave Story (DSI) COMPLETE 6/12
5. Ninja Gaiden Black (Xbox) this is replacing Shadow of the Ninja
6. Jet Grind Radio (DC or PSN when released)
7. Beneath a Steel Sky (PC)

Not Classics that I want to beat before summer ends
8. Clash of Heroes (DS) COMPLETE 5/31
9. Captain America: Super Soldier (PS3) COMPLETE 7/8
10. Ben There Dan That & Time Gentlemen Please (PC) started but now have a new PC and no save file
11. Conan (PS3 2007) COMPLETE 7/7
12. Batman the Brave and the Bold (DS)

I finished Conan last night and Captain America tonight, I wrote about both in the "Games Completed" thread. I also am at the last level of Sonic CD.
It looks like Sonic CD will be the next game I finish and I will start JSRF and/or Ninja Gaiden later in the week.
So far I have done way better than I did last year. Right now Shatter Hand is the only one I worry that I wont get to.

1. Hotel Dusk Room: Room 215 (NDS)
2. Ecco the Dolphin (GBA port)
3. Final Fantasy II (GBA port) COMPLETE
4. Muramasa: The Demon Blade (Wii)
5. Starfox 64 (N64)
6. Sonic CD (NGC port)
7. Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (Intellivision - NDS port) COMPLETE
8. Guardian Heroes (SS)
9. Galactic Attack (SS)
10. Decathlete (SS)

My PS2 is not playing PS1 games at the moment; so, I traded out Nectaris: Military Madness (PS1) and Return Fire (PS1) for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (Intellivision - NDS port) and Guardian Heroes (SS).

I played through AD&D this weekend. It is not much of an RPG...and I do not see how it uses the AD&D license...but it is the grandfather of all action RPGs. (Adventure for the 2600 would be the great-grandfather.) It is a fun diversion, and once you learn the mechanics, you can play through it in a few minutes. It is also a bit of a challenge at the higher difficulty levels. In any event, I enjoyed it, and I am glad to have finally played through this classic game.

On to Guardian Heroes (and the other half of Muramasa)!

Hmm...well, I dropped the ball on this. I have been playing games, but not my summer challenge choices. Oh well, I have been enjoying myself regardless. Good luck to all you guys with your choices! I just ended up getting sidetracked by other games I had picked up.

So I finally sat down with Grim Fandango again today, and beat year 3. Besides one or two moments I had to look up, it was much easier overall than year 2, just because the scale was so much smaller. I think year 2 put me off somewhat because it was so damn huge it took like 10 minutes to get anywhere. It was bad enough if you knew where to go, when you were wandering around clueless it drove you mad. Year 4 looks small atm, but I can see it getting bigger, so we'll see.
