If I get motivated enough, I think I'm going to start the Spartacus workout... time would be the only factor...

I'd actually like to learn to sing too. But, I'm not sure how. I'd like to learn metal growls and such, but the closest I've ever gotten is a backwards burp. I'd do clean, but I'm a pretty flat singer and I don't seem to have all that much a range. The best bet would probably be something in between, but I'm not sure what that would be...

Media Mail is odd. Its actually funny.

I have a package coming that left Irvine, California a few days ago. Some time later, I discovered that it passed right over Colorado and is currently sitting in Warrendale, Pennsylvania.

What the hell?

I remember a minigame in Rayman: Raving Rabbids that used it quite brilliantly; I'm surprised that few other devs used it in creative ways! Imagine holding it up to your ear as a cell phone or walkie-talkie in a game! Okay, maybe the speaker isn't quite that good, but you get the idea.
Wasn't there something like that in No More Heroes?...

I like extremely loud fireworks better than extremely colorful/bright fireworks. I love the distinct FOOMP when they go up and that brief anticipation-building wait before the huge BOOM.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

I just got back from our fireworks show. It was really good, and longer than usual, though I'm thinking they might have had some donated fireworks from other towns that canceled their shows this year.

They did have some loud music playing throughout though, which sucked. I know playing music is common, but turn it down. If its drowning out the crackling sounds that some fireworks make, its too damn loud.

Despite that annoyance though, still a good show.

Yes. Sylvia would call before each boss fight and you had to hold the controller up to your ear like a cell phone to hear it.

Fragile Dreams has a similar mechanic with the Personal Frame, where if you hold up the controller the Personal Frame will give you hints (or just talk depending on the situation).

My dad bought a really cool firework last year like that. It looked like a canister, which sat on the ground and had a fuse sticking out the top. I expected it to be some sort of fountain, but when it went off it sounded like a cannon and shot some sort of fireball super high, which then exploded like a rocket. Too bad fireworks like those are pricey.

There was. Red Steel, for all it's issues, also used it very nicely in the multiplayer. You'd hold it up and it'd tell you a player to kill who was worth more points to you.

I'm really getting tired of hearing the following phrases. They nearly come up daily.

You don't have a girlfriend?
Why not?
You're a handsome young man, there's no reason you shoudn't! (I'd argue 'handsome')
You're cute! If I was 6 years younger... (common from my sister's friends...)
The right one will come along. (I'm not really worried about that just yet.)
Girls don't know what they're missing.
We need to hook you up dude! (Followed by us doing nothing)
You're hopeless. (True...)
Any girl would be lucky to have you! (Most girls would argue, and usually said by girls that I know have no interest in me.)
You need to be more optimistic about this stuff.
You get so sad sometimes, I'm scared you're going to do yourself in. (I say one or two sad things jokingly, then I get this one.)

/end rant
