Comics-N-Stuff
A local franchise of Comic Book Stores. Maybe worth listing for the video game related merchandise such as shirts, figurines, graphic novels and sometimes import game soundtracks. I saw novels such as Kiss Psycho Circus, Comics of Jo Jos Adventure, Mario Shirts and Wallets, Game Statues and tons on Manga including Pokemon. Oh yeah, there are Comic Books, Coins and Sports Memorabilia too. 8)

 Special Plus++ Not your average Comic Store
This store is large, make that HUGE! The picture is only one third of the store. No kidding, it goes to the left two times of what the picture shows.

You need Binoculars to see at the other end of the store.

Thanks. To think all this time I never visited that huge store! Once in a while I would pop in the other branches looking for game related stuff. Added more pics at the top. 8)

Have all of the Indiana stores gone missing from the first page too? I can try to put some together from my personal list.

Sadly, the entire McVan's chain closed down last month:

Thanks for the update. I sent a PM to lisa with a list from an older OP.

At least not all not a loss for McVans customers. Locals should hit the libraries for game checkout or maybe some of the games might appear at the library book stores in the coming months.

A handful of people browsed the West Jefferson store, including two branch managers with the Allen County Public Library. McVan's often has sold used video games to the library at deeply discounted prices, helping it grow its collection of titles, they said.

I can't believe this happened. Just found out, it was the only store in northern indiana that seemed to be just for the old school gamer. I bought all the vintage consoles and games I own from them. Now what, seems like it is becoming harder and harder to buy vintage games without using ebay. Original store even has a giant pac man on the front. I wonder what will happen to there inventory as when I went by they still have a good amount left.

Some Michigan flea markets:

Dixieland Flea Market
2045 Dixie Highway
Waterford, MI 48328
http://dixielandfleamkt.com/index.html (autoplays snippet of dumb music upon visit)

Dixieland is a pretty decent place to find games. Inside the building there are a few run-of-the-mill resellers, though one of them actually had okay prices and was willing to negotiate a bit for bundle deals. Of course there are also regular-ass folks who display their junk in outside in the parking lot, and sometimes they have games. Got an Atari 2600 for 5 bucks one time.

Goodrich Flea Market
7285 S State
Goodrich, Michigan 48438
http://www.facebook.com/GoodrichFleaMarket

Check the Facebook to see when they're open, because it looks like at the moment it's kind of sporadic. I've only been there once, but I scored a sweet Atari 7800 lot there - again, better stuff outside than in.

Royal Oak Farmer's Market
Corner of 11 Mile and Troy
Royal Oak, MI

As the name implies, it's a Farmer's Market, but on Sundays it's a Flea market. Let me make this clear: I recommend checking it out only if you live in the area, because there is no guarantee you'll find any games here. It really just depends on who has set up shop that particular week. There are zero "regular" game sellers there (though there are regulars who sells old toys & comics). Like with the other two markets I mentioned, you'll most likely have more luck outside, as there are different sellers every week. Also like the other two, I picked up a bunch Atari stuff here, and for cheap. Also got Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for the PS3 for the hefty sum of 2 dollars, and it was still fairly new at the time. Again, visit at your own risk.

Congrats on finding games at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market—I've come away empty-handed every time I've been there. I love that guy whose booth sells nothing but vinyl records and vintage porn magazines. What more could you need?
