Seriously, what do you guys play drunk? I've only come to the conclusion that I'm awful at everything.

I don't really drink that much but lately I've been getting drunk and pvping in dark souls and it's been pretty funny. I always do something stupid like take off all my armor and fight naked with a sack over my characters head or get people to fist fight me (which goes on forever.) I always end up lol'ing pretty hard because it's just so stupid. I've also only lost a naked fight once but that was because I invaded and got gang banged.

I also like to played battlefield 3 or something where people will have mics and just have random funny convos while making bad jokes and slightly making fun of people.

Oh and griefing. I love to grief when I'm drunk.

I drink, but never with the intention to get drunk. Well, not since college.

If I do get my buzz on, NHL 2002 is a go to for me. It's sheer fun, and the commentators are actually quite witty (even after hearing the same lines for a decade).

But! I do have friends that get smashed on weekends, and I know exactly what they like to play.

Donkey Kong Country
Skate or Die
Wii Bowling
Mortal Kombat (all of 'em)
Street Fighter (all of 'em)
Pac-Man


That's pretty much the entire list. Rock Band is a weekly get together, so it tops the list. Think our band Chopstick Chili Dog has a few million fans. But other than Rock Band, while drinking, we usually play more "real" sports. Baseball, frisbee, croquet, darts, cards, bowling, and also arm-wrestling are more my bag of tea when it comes to drinking and gaming.

there's a reason why I've never 1CC'd anything. Seriously though, I'm getting pretty good at playing Deathsmiles with beer.

Shmups definitely don't work for me, my failed attempts to play Layer Section are actually what prompted this thread.

On the topic of anti-social drinking: my insomnia usually keeps me up well after my friends have gone to sleep or found their way home. Frisbee, darts, arm-wrestling and cards are all staples, as well as bocce ball and fighting games and NFL Blitz... But those aren't much fun by myself.

Anyways, I think Serious Sam co-op (on easy, naturally) might be the winner here.

Word. I don't get high anymore, but when I did, I always had fun playing these with my friends:

Donkey Kong Country (snes)
Firepower 2000 (snes)
F-Zero X (N64)

And when alone:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (the graphics begin to look oddly realistic. )

When I get drunk I get an insatiable urge to engage in meaningful conversation, so I don't think I've ever even tried playing video games while under the influence of alcohol. haha

Oddly enough I only seem to get better at games (with the exception of driving/puzzle games) while high. I go from incredible to pretty much unstoppable in Tribes for example. I also beat Lightening Force as well.

However I lose any desire to talk and interact with people, so friends typically dislike playing or even hanging out with me on the herb.
