Well this is wierd, so my lease for my place of residence ends in one month, and the leasing company has already started to send people to my house to view it in the INSIDE. Today, some girl and a leasing agent walked right into my house and starting looking around, and I nearly had my phone ready to call 911 for a home invasion. lol!

This can't be standard for leasing company, can it!??

Check your lease, you probably agreed to it.

That said, your land lord is usually supposed to give at least 24 hours notice.

I'll just say this. I view homosexuals the same way I view thieves. I don't condone what they do, and I would not do it myself. However, I won't be mean or talk down to a person who takes part in it... Unless they force it on me. Which, I find, is a problem that I run into way more than most people believe I should.

I've been raised that anybody has the right to do what they want in private, as long as they don't hurt themselves or others. Now, when said things come out in private, and are against my moral code, I will get offended, simple as that.

Fair enough. The question I have to ask in return is this: Who would choose a life where sex is so often a painful act and you're shunned or detested by so many in society?

Along the same lines for white people who also happen to be racist: Why do so many of them spend time hanging out in the sun trying to make themselves brown?

I'll just say this. I view homosexuals the same way I view thieves. I don't condone what they do, and I would not do it myself.

Bad analogy. Thieves are hurting someone by stealing from them. Gays and Lesbians can't be construed as hurting anyone unless perhaps they're being very amorous in public. IMHO anyone being overly amorous in public is being a nuisance.

Re-visit that view from time to time as you get older. Your opinion might not change but the things that don't quite work with that comparison might become apparent down the line.

Because they are breaking a law or otherwise harming others through their activity? I am trying to understand your view on the subject if only to engage you about it, but I don't get these kind of comparisons.

What's to forgive? It's your opinion. You just happen to have a different one from a lot of people in this specific social group. The reverse could happen just as easily. If everyone agreed with everyone, there'd be no conversation.

That's the point. The fact you're using something actually bad to compare them to colors them as bad as well. You should be discrimination against thieves.

Many think that, yes. What about Robin Hood? Many are completely fine with his actions, because he helps the poor through it. That doesn't justify what Robin Hood does to me, although it is generally accepted he did the right thing.

A better comparison than homosexuality to thievery would be homosexuality to piercings. I would never get one.
