maybe its too early, but I guess I'll post it here.

this site is talking about Disney brainstorming a marvel property for future animation.

http://www.deadline.com/2012/06/disney- ... ted-movie/

My take is that they are going to use a lesser known characters so if it doesnt go well, their higher stakee properties arent affected?

I think this will probably be something for toon disney?

The Maxx is AWESOME.
No kidding, I finished it last night. I knew that a lot of the characters and entities in the show probably had some greater meaning, but I was genuinely impressed with how symbolic and compelling the story became. It really is a shame that it had to be such an abbreviated series, but I am grateful that we got what we did.
You guys are intriguing me. I'm gonna have to give that series a try.

It was a comic book first, which I'm sure is dirt freaking cheap to track down (it's early Image).

Not sure if this one has been mentioned before but Renaissance is a French anime film, its almost all in black and white. There is a decent English dub of it too with Daniel Craig taking on the voice of the main protagonist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renaissance_(film)

I've seen that movie and it's quite good.

I've seen the first two episodes of Avatar The Last Airbender now. I really like it. The characters have real charm. I can see how this show could easily have been lame where the creators not so good at creating good dialog and reactions from the characters. They kept surprising me with their funny lines and facial expressions. Ang is very entertaining. I plan on going through the whole series and then moving on to korra

Just watched through The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police
The violence and language was toned down and it has different voice actors, but other than that it's good old Sam and Max. It does have some jokes and scenes that were added in to cater for the younger audience, but it also has loads of of the usual witty Sam and Max antics. It's very short (2 20 minute episode and 20 10 minute episodes I think) so if you like the comics or the game, go watch it. Every one who calls themselves a retro gamer has to play through the original Sam and Max game. It's a timeless classic
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Has anyone seen the new Black Dynamite show? I'm hoping it's as fun as the movie was.
