Pal Snes - Clean sync out - BA6592F/S-Enc

Post by Stainomo »

I'm busy making an ultimate pal Snes for use with my pal games/everdrive.

Since the pal verion only outputs composite sync through the multi-AV out i'm looking for a clean sync inside and i'm hoping to find this near the BA6592F/S-ENC.

Does anyone have the pinout for this chip? Can't really find a lot about this except the component mod, which i don't want since i have a scaler which accepts pure RGBs!

Should i find clean sync i'm going to add a RCA out on the back with clean sync - together with a 50/60hz switch (currently it's hardwired to 60hz).

Sync should be pin 8 on the BA6592. If you need the pinout it's right here: http://mikejmoffitt.com/BA6592F.pdf

Perfect, that's what i needed!

I'll grab some wire and an RCA plug after work and report back! Although i see no reason why it wouldn't work :)

I had found links to a datasheet yesterday but all dead.

I found these schematics years ago and held onto them. I posted this link a while ago in the snes component mod thread.

If people want to keep posting a dead link then good for them.
