Very fun, and creepy character study/thriller. David Hyde Pierce's performance is immaculate. I had no clue his acting chops were so sturdy. The writing does crumble a bit in the third act, however, which is a shame. But the buildup is strong, and even genuinely unnerving at times. A great "the less you know the better" type of film. Overall, I think it is most definitely worth a watch on Netflix, especially if you're as big of a Frasier fan as I am.

PRIZZI'S HONOR

Damn I love Netflix.

This is another astonishing performance from a star studded cast that I can't believe I previously didn't know about. Every one is up to par with Jack Nicholson, which is also hard to believe.

It's a very, very well written film that leads you to think you know how the plot will unfold, but it doesn't use the same "boy and girl make cute" formula. It may be the first Mafia Comedy that I've actually wanted to watch over and over (I'm fine with one viewing of Analyze This and Mickey Blue Eyes).

You can see that Hudsn Hawk and other films of this ilk borrowed a few ideas from PRIZZI, but PRIZZI executes the same themes much more eloquently (not that Mafia comedies aim for eloquence).

Not a perfect movie, but pretty darned close. I couldn't see a single member on this board not loving PRIZZI'S HONOR.

No one else here has seen WITNESS PROTECTION?

Hate to stoop this low, but it has Denise Richards licking her lips and stretching a bunch. If that will get you into a funny movie, I have to throw it out there.

I think you're the only one who cares about TP dude. Oh and above picture ^ is funny because of Eugene Levy not Tyler Perry. Not even Denise Richards naked would make me want to see Tyler Perry cross-dressing.

Speaking of which what is it with black comedians and dressing up as a woman? I mean I think there's something like 10 Madea movies, then you have Martin Lawrence doing like 3 Big Momma's and you have Eddie Murphy with Norbit and the Nutty Professor movies (2 of em?). Just odd.

Eddie Murphy cross dressing in the first Nutty Professor movie was great because they were just part of that Sherman's family and never really part of the main plot.Never saw the second one or Norbit.

The first Big Mommas House was pretty funny and had a decent story to justify why Martin Lawrences character had to dress up as this Big Momma Character. You have to remember that this was the time where Martin Lawrence was popular. Black Knight and Blue Streak and then there was Bad Boys 2. Never saw the 2nd or 3rd Big Mommas House.

The Madea character that Tyler Perry created is interesting as a secondary character than a main character. I saw Diary of a Mad Black Women where the Madea character was introduced and the character provided some laughs here and there and that was cool compared to the main story about this women thats going through some problems.

As a main character though in a 90 Minute movie, Pass.

Don't judge movies you haven't watched.

Fine to say "I'm concerned" or "I'm expecting more" from trailers, but c'mon.
