Nutty Professor movie was great because they were just part of that Sherman's family and never really part of the main plot.Never saw the second one or Norbit.
The first
Big Mommas House was pretty funny and had a decent story to justify why Martin Lawrences character had to dress up as this Big Momma Character. You have to remember that this was the time where Martin Lawrence was popular. Black Knight and Blue Streak and then there was Bad Boys 2. Never saw the 2nd or 3rd Big Mommas House.
The Madea character that Tyler Perry created is interesting as a secondary character than a main character. I saw
Diary of a Mad Black Women where the Madea character was introduced and the character provided some laughs here and there and that was cool compared to the main story about this women thats going through some problems.
As a main character though in a 90 Minute movie, Pass.
