What single player FPS campaign are you playing?

RTS, FPS, Sports, Adventure, etc.

Future Perfect, Republic Commando, Serious Sam 2, Perfect Dark Zero, Battlefront 2, Project Snowblind and Stranger's Wrath were all released the same year as FEAR. PDZ is the only one I'd consider a worse game than FEAR.

Serious Sam has to be the most stressful game ever made. "Good job! You killed the waves! Here's 10,000 more enemies. Don't pick up that health! It'll only spawn more!"

Project Snowblind?...

I'd put FEAR above all of those.

I'm playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I'm really enjoying this one. I find that sneaking around enemies undetected is a more rewarding experience than going in with guns blazing.

I picked up Medal Of Honor: Underground on PS1 yesterday. I heard it was one of the great pre-Halo console FPS games, but it's pretty rough. All the levels are ridiculously simple and it seems like a joke. I guess I should have known, but I expected more from old school FPS games.

WHAT? No, sabrage is right, FEAR is easily the least of that list he made. Well, I was never that big a fan of Serious Sam, so I might put that below FEAR as well.

I probably played as much as you did with FEAR.

When it was hyped up as having some kind of connection to Deus Ex, I can't even put into words how disappointing the experience was. It's also probably the most console-obviously-designed game I've ever played on the PC.

Why did I pick up Republic Commando, even cheap? I hate hate hate babysitting idiotic AI and having teammates get in my way. Not sure if I'm gonna make it far before I reach wall to wall cursing and stop.

I'd tell you how far I made it in FEAR, but the fact that they made only 3 wall textures makes it kind of hard. "Uhh.. The part with the nondescript hallway... I seem to recall some faceless supersoldiers, too..."
