The snes and gamecube both have somekind of gameboy player, and with the wii controller it would be possible to replicate the touch screen.... so will it ever happen?

Very much doubt it.
Ergonomically, how would they be able to do it? The Wii remote just isn't accurate enough to emulate the touch screen on the DS.

I doubt it as well, but I do forsee some individual VC releases of old DS games emulated on Wii. On a game by game basis, they would be able to convert the controls relatively easily. And of course, it would be even easier for games that have little to no touch-screen action, like FF4.

Surely it would just be less effort to remake it again for Wii.

I just cant find a good way to play the ds for long periods of time, it would be cool to play it on a big tv.

Mod it for TV-out somehow? Can't see that working without either PIP or 2 TVs.

I think the two tv method is ideal, not just because I have many similar tvs lying around...
