Cooking for one is more difficult. Recipes are typically intended for 4-6 people, so everything has to be scaled down. I cook often for large groups, but for myself I usually eat out of a can.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Mrs. Bone is in New Jersey until Sunday. I can't be the only one who hates cooking for one person. I LOVE cooking for just myself. I finally get to cook the things I love that my wife isn't crazy about like beef ribs, baby back ribs, Cornish hens, brussel sprouts, meatloaf patties with mushroom gravy, etc.BoringSupreez wrote: Cooking for one is more difficult. So I had an idea that I thought may have been original, but google proved me wrong. Anyway, while I was making fajitas and while rolling the tortilla it occurred to me that a tortilla would be perfect for making a trompe l'oeil, southwestern sushi.
You could use mixed avocados as a faux wasabi sauce, pickled onions as faux pickled ginger, and the options for the "sushi" itself are endless.

Just ate three bananas. Washed them down with a quart of spring water from the mountain.

I just finished a Turkey 6" Sub from WaWa about a minute ago, I can't deny that WaWa has really good food in the price that isn't too bad. Plus with a couple of Diet Dr. Pepper's I brought for myself in the company fridge.
