What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I watched that movie when I was 12 years old, and enjoyed it. What a steaming pile of cheesy garbage. Good thing I only paid $1 for it at Goodwill.
What's wrong with laser shooting skulls?

"He fits the suit", I get it. But couldn't have Sony cast a New Yorker, or even just an American actor to play Peter Parker? It's not that big of a deal, yet, but I'm not the only one who gets distracted by fake American accents.

Now I totally get why I hate the "Woo-hoo, hey, I'm a web slinging here-a" line. One, it is an awful line, two the delivery is forced, three it sounds nothing like a New Yorker.

I'm still going to see Amazing though.

Getting a little Giddy about seeing RISES. For a movie I haven't seen yet, I think about it a lot.

And.... Another suggestion for Michi if he hasn't seen it:

I've heard that screenings for the major critics have already happened, and there's gonna be another press screening today or tomorrow or so.

That's awesome, then.

I kinda want to pop in BB and TDK and rewatch them, but I think i'll wait until the week of the 20th.

It is still sinking in with a few friends of mine and I haven't heard "Best Batman Yet", but what I can say for sure is that RISES will surprisingly be more like BEGINS and focus on character, character, character, and character.

I'll throw it out there and suggest this will be the best Batman film for fans of the character Batman. I love TDK because of the Joker, plain and simple. RISES seems to be for people who want to see a lot of Bruce, a lot of character development, and the Batman they have grown to love from the comics.

And as always, no character is safe from death.

I won't say a damn thing other than that until the movie is released.

It's a kung fu movie with fights choreographed by Corey Yuen. I know what to expect.
