It sucks overall.

Just kidding dsh, I quit playing because I bought the PS3 version and discovered I only like playing DE on PC. I'll be buying that version instead.
I think you have me confused with a certain Washingtonian.
Aye, you're thinking of JT! Also, I liked it very much as well, must be a Washington thing. :P

@dsheinem Do you think you might pick up Ocarina if you end up getting a 3DS?

So what made you stop playing? I've always been a huge Zelda fan, but when I played this when it came out, I got stuck on the water level and never finished it. When they had it come out for 3DS I was interested in going back to a classic Zelda game that many hail as one of the best Zeldas ever and definitely can be pointed to as the originator of alot of the way 3D action-er games work nowadays. I guess I'm just curious, because between this and the new Castlevania game (Mirror of Fate?) I've been seriously contemplating a 3DS.

Well, I'm not just saying that to be "one of the cool kids." I got lost, it's a very confusing level.

I always thought Ocarina of Time was vastly overrated. The best 2D Zeldas (Link to the Past and Link's Awakening) are much better.

I'm a complete n00b at action/adventure games in general and it only took me about an hour to beat that temple. I suppose the new menu controls probably made it better, but I don't think its a particularly bad, or difficult temple, just compared to many of the ones in Ocarina.

Got me man, maybe it was something else about it I didn't like, it's now been 14 years since I've played it ...
