I guess it'll be interesting to see what I think of Next and Try.

RE: Slayers. I've had the season 1-3 set for a while. I've tried to start watching Slayers Next a few times, but for whatever reason just can't seem to get into it. Not sure why, as I really enjoyed the first season...

Might check out Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha first movie today. We'll see how the day goes.

I've been watching Dragonball GT repeats on TV, despite how I've always heard it sucked compared to normal Dragonball. I'm happy with what I've seen, although I can't tell if they're in order.

I'd get into normal Dragonball, but I don't have netflix and don't currently want the DVDs, so I'll have to see when it comes on.

Watched some more of Love Hina today. It started slow but I'm warming up to it. I'm a sucker for cutesy shit like this. The English dub is kinda weak though.

Dunno how you can stomach Love Hina man. I've warmed up to shoujo/rom-com's and the likes thesedays but I guess I still can't stand harem's one bit. Tenchi is probably the only exception for me since it's got some nice fantasy/action bits and Ryoko. I like to pinpoint Love Hina as the one that started the crappy trend.

There's so many good affordable boxsets out there nowadays. Just ordered BGC 2040, I really enjoyed that one even if I still like the OVA more, but it was one of the better sci-fi shows of the late 90's / early 2000's.

I more or less ignore Love Hina and similar moe/harem/whatever anime's existence... too stupid to even acknowledge. No offense intended to anyone but to me it's just mindless garbage.

On a side note, I'm really catching up with these Hellsing Ultimate OVAs and wow, they are even surpassing the manga. Really great in every field, gonna speed through it at this rate.

Also watching the original Dragon Ball and quite enjoying it. I am hoping that it gets better because I'm pretty underwhelmed by this Red Ribbon Army arc, but at the same time I'm quite confident it will ramp up and the Red Ribbon stuff isn't killing me or anything. Mostly I'm trying to reach the finish line so I can begin my virgin viewing of DBZ without dubs.

All this Slayers talk reminds me that I've been meaning to pick that Season 1-3 box set. Seems like a show I'd enjoy.

On a side note, I'm really catching up with these Hellsing Ultimate OVAs...

I was so bummed when Geneon went belly-up and they quit releasing these. I loved them. I had the four steelbook versions and everything. Funimation needs to hurry the hell up and release the rest. It's not like I haven't been waiting patiently, damn it.


And, yes, I know they have a release coming up in October (or at least they're supposed to), but I don't think they've confirmed what's going to be in that particular collection yet. My guess is it'll be Vol. 1-4..... You know. Just to piss me off

I've only been watching anime for about two years and I'd say my (meager) collection is 50% serious stuff, 50% comedy/romance/harem bullshit. I dunno, sometimes I like to turn my brain off and just lol at the stupid jokes. One of my favorite series is Chobits simply because I find it so damn hilarious.
