Yup, I get that completely. I am sure that both handhelds will eventually have strong enough libraries that it will be worth investing in each of them for anyone on this board.MrPopo wrote:Now you know how I feel when I look at a list of Vita titles.dsheinem wrote:
Yikes, I hope there's more out there of interest than that. I see maybe 2-3 games that interest me on that list, and I was considering getting an XL.

Yeah both have a lot of potential I think, but I can hold off on them for awhile.

I'm just waiting for the giant influx of JRPGs. It will be hard for the 3DS/Vita to top the DS/PSP RPG library but we shall see...

Seriously who care's first off all the game thus far works just fine without it. Also they added an attachment with the second circle pad for the games where its needed already so there is no point really llike for example resident evil revelations you can use the extra circle pad.
just but the extra for 20 bucks and your set. Don't complain about having to spend the extra cause 3ds is an amazing price with amazing games
or you can buy a vita which im never getting. The system seems nice but the price is way to steep for a handheld and you would think sony would have learned there lesson from the ps3.
(mind you I like the ps3 not an insult)

The current pad doesn't work with the XL and people are concerned they may not make a new, larger version.dreamcast4ever83 wrote:just but the extra for 20 bucks and your set. Don't complain about having to spend the extra cause 3ds is an amazing price with amazing games![]()
The Vita has launched at the same price that the 3DS launched at ($250). Recently major retailers have been selling them with $50 coupons (or for basically the same price as the 3DS XL).or you can buy a vita which im never getting. Also: "never?" Do you think it will be the same "way to steep" price for all time?

With the way Sony has been handling the Vita, they should have done what Nintendo did with the 3DS and dropped the price, instead of wanting to stick to their guns.
Having pride for your products is all well and good, but it won't matter much if no one wants to buy it and you aren't giving people good incentive to do so.

Are those second circle pads readily available yet? I've never seen one live and everytime I ask at GameStop they are clueless when they'll have them in.

The price is higher depending on which one you get.IF you do not buy the bundle abd buy the normal 250.00 package it does not have a memory stick so you can not save your games and that stick cost over 50.00 doller's so no point in getting the one that is lower price it is just a ploy. No matter what your gonna end up paying 300 plus because you need that stick and that is alot of money. Also you might want to get the the higher priced unit since it has 3g but the cheaper one does not. So no this is not the same as the 3ds was at all.THe 3ds came with everything needed out of the box no matter what color you got.
rebates are nice but it's a temp thing
What sony should have done is made it 200.00 even where it came with everything needed! (not buy this but you can't save your game's then give me 50 more dollers) And maby packaged a game with it like uncharted or a digital download.
That would have been nice and friendly and made me want one.
I love my ps3 system as much as my 360 but sony please stop trying to rule the world and just make good affordable gaming units agine
Re: This new 3DS has to be a fake
Nintendo is being very inconsistent with the circle pad pro. It was a bulbous add-on for the original system, and now it will require ANOTHER add-on to be produced for this big system.
I guess Nintendo just abandoned the whole idea, which is probably for the better, I dont need that many god damn buttons on my handheld.
