There's a few near me about 14 miles out, but that's a fair drive away from where I usually commute.

GameStop will ship to your local store if the item is already in your district. You should ask 'em about it.

Gamestop will also ship to your local store, you get results by visiting the store in person. Just go on a Wednesday in morning at the store opening when not busy, usually a manager or senior person is on the floor. They often will take the extra step and also have the authority to get that accessory shipped which is no charge to the customer.

I tried that once. The clerk told me that yes, they will do that, but only from stores within their region. I can have stuff shipped to me from pretty much anywhere in MO, but if something's in stock only in Ohio I'm out of luck.

I had stuff sent all the way across the States, multiple times too. Gamestop takes a hit for shipping, but they take care of a regular customer. In the long term, justified since they gain from repeat sales. Did you go on a Wednesday morning?

Maybe because of a crowded store and the clerk was a junior worker that did not have pull? If you can, go back on Wednesday morning. This way BOTH stores have a senior person on the floor to make a transfer happen, even from out of state.
