Any love for this title on here?

When I first had a PS1 many years ago I was completely unaware of the game but now, in my second wave of PS ownership, I got a copy of this import title and thought - WOW, so THAT's what the PS1 was for!

Seriously love this game. Only found out about the whole Gradius series after snapping up V for the PS2 then Gradius Collection on the PSP.

Has there ever been a Hi-Score thread for this title?

I've played it as part of the Gradius Collection on the PSP. I only put about 20 minutes into it, but it seems like a great game. I still have to 1cc gradius 3 before I can move on with the rest of the series. (Which will never happen. That game is ridiculous, and I can't even get past the first corridor.)
