It looks big. Worst part about this design is the lack of the 2nd circle pad.

It's real. Watch the newest Nintendo Direct.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

was it really hard for them to add the circle pad? or will they ever do?pepharytheworm wrote:It's real. Watch the newest Nintendo Direct.

WTF! o_0The new remodel ships without a charger
Re: This new 3DS has to be a fake
I'm glad they didn't add one personally. The system works fine just as it is and I'm glad they stuck to their guns.JC48573 wrote:was it really hard for them to add the circle pad? or will they ever do?pepharytheworm wrote:It's real. Watch the newest Nintendo Direct.

So imagine the joystick add-on attachment that thing will need. Brilliant.

I'm kinda grumpy about the whole thing honestly.
I was very happy to get my 3ds when I did, and I knew a revision was coming at some point, but I'm still kinda bugged about it. Its strictly because I love those bigger screens.
Ah well, what do you do. At least its a good value for newcomers.

Agreed. Too many times a second analog stick becomes a substitute for making a decent camera system. FPS's are the only genre I can think of where the second analog stick would really be necessary (and even then you can make do with the touch pad if you don't need button complexity).KDub wrote:I'm glad they didn't add one personally. I'm a little torn, honestly. Which is hard for me to admit since I've been holding out for one.
On the plus side you've got a bigger screen, a longer battery life and a nice price point.
On the negative side, the battery really didn't improve that much
, there's no charger for some reason
, and....those colors >_<
(Note: I, too, don't care about an extra analog stick)

Yeah, I'll need some more details on the charger thing. If they just reuse one of the existing chargers for their handhelds then I don't care, but if it means everyone needs to make a separate $30 purchase then I'll be pretty miffed.
